Great great tip Anthony! I too have a notebook and I go nuts if it’s not around when a great idea comes to mind. And you are absolutely right there is just a great feeling to see your to do list scratched off as you accomplish it!
This is a great tip Anthony, I use this myself also. as I tend to forget things more all the time. “Must be an age thing”! It does help to relieve the stress of the day knowing you have your plan in hand. I also take about 30 minutes a day for just me. “I think about nothing when I can and let any worries I may have melt away”. It seems to help me refocus on my task and really helps with the over all progression of the day!
Thank you for sharing this with us!
Wow Anthony, how did you know I was stressed? You must be a mind reader lol. I do write everything down in note books already, and yes it works and helps. I want to thank you for all your help and support. I could not have made it this far without it.
Thanks,
TimmyGD
You ought to see my notebooks…4 years of them since I’ve been studying and trying to find a way to make money on the internet. I’m well stocked with notes and you have to be organized to do anything. You’re absolutely right
However;I find music and dance help my level of stress…mostly from lack of funds.A good laugh never hurt anybody either..like when you said that all of your next three blogs will have the same shirt .I hope there’s a laundry at the hotels you stay at.LoL
Funny, I have a notebook with notes, just page after page. Notes, to dos, passwords, etcs. It does work, I started this years ago in Project Mgmt at my job. I replaced my franklin day planner with this.
Thank you so much Anthony for your Blog # 57. List all the things that you want to do and then prioritize. Yes, this is a great way to have things done. I like this. I will start doing this from now on.
For today, I will start reading your book, “Advertising Profits From Home”. I just got this late last night. So with “The Hidden Millionaire”. I plan to finish these two books and go over some of your messages in the past. These will lead me to the end of next week where I will be in a position to do more advertising in PPC. I am still in the early stage of this business. I started advertising only since 36 days ago. Even though the results are not what I wanted (it is a little slow), I am still very happy and strive to continue walking these baby steps. I know I am in good hands with you and I will be successful. I will do whatever it takes for me to succeed.
Very good advice! I have heard you say this before and unfortunately I haven’t paid attention. There have been many times that I have done something that I know I need to write down so I can remember it, and sure enough I don’t, and sometime later when I need that information I don’t have it. So, everything that is important or applies to your business should be written down for future reference.
Thank you for your weekly blogs. I bought a notebook last week because I was getting scatter brained. I started making notes and it has helped a lot. I just need to remember to keep it close. 🙂
Great tried and true facts, writing down a list or goals, marking them off as you go helps to highlight the next item to do. Showing that you accomplished what you set out to do allows you to keep moving…one -step- at- a time.
Love the weekly blogs…reminders to keep moving forward and not give up on ourselves or businesses.
Thanks
Janet
P.S.- your training at PMI was great, now need to apply what was learned and jump in.
Thank you. It was a great reminder. My Dad, a business owner always made a list. Everyday there were 10 things on the list – numbered in order of priority and crossed off when completed.
Hey Anthony, this was great, I have good intentions but it has gotten me absolutely nowhere, I will began using my writting skills 2day, thanks it makes so much sense 2 b organized & loose thestress
Anthony,
Life is at times overwhelming. Especially if you are like me and are a small business owner that is struggling because of the economy. Working seven days a week over 12 hours a day and trying to put enough time into internet marketing is numbing.
I have been working to get the internet business up and running, but with my full time business, family and the day to day things that make life so interesting, I really think that I am missing a huge opportunity.
Does anyone know how to get a message directly to Anthony Morrison?
Organization of thoughts is not the real challenge. The challenge is taking action and following up.
Thanks,
Rob
Anthony, you couldn’t be any closer to the truth then this method in helping to relieving stress… at least for myself anyways. I’ve used this same method myself quite a few times, and it really dose work very well. It’s really cool to hear that someone els uses it too. For anyone that hasn’t tried this method, I highly recommend to at least try it… Either way , it can’t hurt, RIGHT !!
Hope everyone has a great time… AND FUN!!! in their business!
I have been using Yellow Legal Pads for years and then I remember YOU, Anthony, telling us that you scribble all your things down on Legal Pads. l I see you have graduated to Notebooks. They are easier to manage, I must admit, but I still haven’t made one penny, and I need it.
Thanks, Elizabeth in NY~
Anthony,
Great advise, I have four different notebooks and use them all, daily, as the ideas come faster than I can apply them, so every day I just pick up were I left off the day before, either checking off the things I’ve accomplished or adding to the lists….Thanks so much for all your help and tips.
Mark
Thanks Anthony for the tip, wow, talking about reading people’s minds. I am stressed and i needed that, though i have been writing notes and scribble them off as i accomplish some of them.
Anthony, Thanks for the poke! I KNOW to do this, especially the night BEFORE the next day so I can get some sleep!!! I’m going to drill this into my head! It’s such a simple step! So why do I avoid it??? I FORGET TO TAKE A BREATH!!! ahhhhhh!!! zzzzz
Anthony:
Great Idea…I used to use a notebook, but now I put everything on my IPhone in the Notes section.. it works well for me, since my writing tends to be a bit sloppy…….
Anthony, Sooooooooo true about writing it down…..can’t begin to tell you
how many times I missed writing something down…only to later kick myself somewhat for forgetting what it was…maybe a web site address
or some improvement invention to some exsisting widgit…like time; once a minute is gone…it can’t be reclaimed. So the clue is to” Carpe diem”
strike while the iron is HOT.
Phil.
Thanks for the advice Anthony. I have thought of doing that before but never got to it. now, I will do my best to do my priorities and list tehm down. Thanks a lot again.
This totally relates to me. Thanks for the simple but very powerful and effective tip to stay organized and focused. Writing things down helps to prevent brain overload
Notebooks are great! I really need to use mine more but as I continue to learn how to use one myself I must admit that it has helped time and time again. Awesome tip. Everyone should definitely use one. Even if it’s just a dollar. That’s the kind I use… Works great.
Thanks Anthony
I worked in an office as bookkeeping mgr for 60 years and I don’t know how many books and daily planners I went through. Organization is certainly a good way to help relieve stress.
And a written record is worth more than one can say!
Keep up the good work! And Thanks!
Hi Anthony, I agree with you about this relieving stress. I have been trying to do what you suggest, using a tablet at work and a little notebook in my purse for personal things. I think you have to have a free clear mind to be able to listen effectively to people. If it is cluttered with a lot of things, you find yourself thinking about those instead of listening when someone is talking to you, I find.

GREAT TIP. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL DAILY ORGANIZER CLASSES IN THE NAVY, CIVIL SERVICE , AND CONSTRUCTION JOB COORDINATOR. SO I’VE USED SYSTEMS LIKE THIS FOR YEARS. ONE OF THE BEST HAS PRIORITY AT A, B, C. A MUST BE DONE THAT DAY. B DO IF YOU CAN GET THE TIME. C DO WHEN YOU GET AROUND TO IT. IF YOU CARRY B’S AND C’S OVER FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS. SCRATCH IT OFF BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT GOING TO DO IT. THANKS LEW.
I like the way you gave a rationale for the notebook, showed how you use it and encouraged everyone to do the same as a way of preventing or managing stress. I have three and need to focus on keeping only one notebook going per month until everything in it is “checked off”- done.
I agree with you, Anthony, with two small additions. I keep everything in my notebooks, then I make a daily priority list, and I use Google gCalendar to keep track of my appointments and deadlines. I can keep my daily priority list and calendar on my smart phone so it is with me every hour of every day.
Yes my note book is just about full, i’ve been puttin it off I need to get another one asap, which would relieve stress cause I can start writing things down for reference..Thanks for the tips in this blog:)
Thanks Anthony great little video blog, I use a composition book to write down things to do , and training from all the internet marketers I try to follow. I’m a swa member and have learned a lot from you. Still not making it work right yet but won’t stop trying. As I venture back to school to learn yet another field for another career change your teachings will all ways stay with me.
thanks Anthony, for all of the lecture you give to us, u’re the best lecturer in your young age, i try to follow all in swa members, i must get succeed for all of my family, my best regard to all of swa team, the best team in internet marketing coach, to our succeed.

That was good advise, in fact I do the very same thing every day. I pick from the large things I got to do and pick daily.
I was wondering do you have any blogging on product meta tags?
Always write down your goals. Thank you Anthony for your weekly blog#57. It’s going to help me achieve more in my business.
Thank you. It was a great reminder. My Dad, a business owner always made a list. Everyday there were 10 things on the list – numbered in order of priority and crossed off when completed.

Glad to see I’m not alone.
Thanks again Anthony.
